The cost of NAD+ injections largely depends on three things.
- If you’re going in-person to a clinic
- If you’re buying a one-off shot or buying a package
- If you’re going to buy online and self administer at home
The third option is the cheapest (and most convenient) and I’ll break it all down below.
How Much Do NAD Injections Cost Online?
Many people prefer online NAD+ injections for their convenience, since they allow you to self-administer at home and avoid scheduling appointments or waiting in a clinic.
Buying NAD+ online allows you to self-administer at home when needed, which drastically reduces the price as well. And don’t worry, when buying NAD+ injections online through a telehealth clinic, you’ll always work with a licensed provider who will teach you how and where to inject your shots.
Average Cost Online
I’ve reviewed ~11 online clinics now, and here’s what I’ve learned.
Oral NMN sits far below these figures, and it is worth pricing before you commit to a course.
The average cost of monthly NAD+ injections ranges from $105–$350.
This is quite a large range and depends on the provider you go through. After talking with these clinics I’ve realized a few things . . .
Some telehealth companies focus heavily on NAD+ injections, so they want to get the price down for their customers. Other companies view NAD+ as just an “add on” and don’t necessarily try and compete on price and bring new customers in through NAD+. Rather, they use it as an additional supplement for existing customers on different medications.
Neither approach is wrong. But as a consumer, you want to find the companies who have an extreme focus on NAD+ because the cost will be lower and overall support and expertise will be better as well.
Case in point, I love Shed and think it is one of the best NAD+ injection providers. The cost is $169/month, with frequent discounts to bring in new NAD+ customers.
Again, since Shed is actively giving discount codes, this tells me it’s actively trying to get new customers in the door through NAD+ and thus it’s a core part of its business (not an “add on”). Which means better support and better expertise when it comes to this supplement.
Another way you can get the cost down is by buying a three-month supply instead of paying month to month. Case in point, Sprout Health drops the price ~$25 per 1000mg if you buy a three-month supply. But also be mindful of how much the price can increase after that first month.
As you can see in the screenshot below, prices increase $50 after the first month. I’m not a huge fan of these price increases BUT I have to give Sprout Health a shout-out here because it’s up-front and transparent about it. Many telehealth companies don’t show this price increase on their product pages, so I appreciate the honesty here.

Quick Tip on Pricing
As mentioned above, many telehealth companies like to jack up the price after the first month. But it’s not the only pricing scheme to watch out for. When buying online, be mindful and check prices to see if the clinic requires a membership.
For instance, Hone Health offers NAD+ injections for $165/mo + membership. While it is a great clinic, you can’t ignore the “membership” aspect of its pricing.

Its “basic” memebership pricing is $25 per month, so you’re actually looking at a total cost of $190.
Again, I think Hone Health is a great clinic but you can’t ignore these details as prices start to add up. And to be clear, it’s not the only telehealth clinic that does this—many do. And many do so in discreet ways whereas Hone Health tells you up front there is a membership cost.
How Much Do NAD Injections Cost In-Person?
Single NAD injection sessions across the US typically range from $40 to $200, while full IV infusions, which are more complex and time consuming, can cost between $250 and $1,500 depending on dosage, clinic, and additional services offered.
Clinics usually source NAD+ from licensed compounding pharmacies (503A/503B), ensuring pharmaceutical-grade quality under regulated standards. Patients should confirm that their provider uses properly compounded NAD+ and transparently breaks down costs in any quoted package.- Dosages and options vary—always verify with each provider.

What’s Included in the Price of NAD Therapy?
The cost of NAD therapy goes far beyond just the coenzyme itself. Clinics build in multiple services and features that affect the final price you’ll pay.
Understanding what’s bundled into each treatment helps you compare clinics more accurately—and avoid hidden fees. Here’s what you’re usually paying for behind the scenes:
Administration Method
NAD can be delivered via intramuscular injection or intravenous (IV) drip. IM shots are quicker and cheaper, often done in under 15 minutes with minimal setup.
IV infusions require longer chair time, specialized equipment, and clinical oversight, which increases cost. Some clinics also vary pricing by delivery method, even for the same dose.
Length of Treatment Session
Treatment time affects both your experience and your bill. A high-dose NAD IV infusion may take two to four hours to complete, especially if it’s your first time.
Slower drips reduce the chance of side effects like flushing or nausea but extend the appointment. Clinics factor in time, staffing, and room use when pricing longer sessions.
Add-Ons and Enhancements
Many clinics offer vitamin infusions, antioxidants, or amino acids alongside NAD. Popular additions include B12, vitamin C, magnesium, taurine, and glutathione.
Some are included in the package, while others are billed separately as optional upgrades. These extras can raise the total session price by $50 to $200, depending on the formulation.
Medical Consultation & Screening
Legit providers will require a health screening or consultation before starting NAD therapy. This often includes a questionnaire, telehealth session, or even baseline labs to check for nutrient deficiencies or underlying issues.
Some protocols are adjusted based on your history or current medications. The cost of this visit is often baked into your first session price.
Session Frequency & Protocol Packages
NAD therapy is rarely one-and-done—most providers recommend multiple sessions for noticeable results. The number of sessions you need often depends on your health goals and how your body responds to treatment. Many offer package deals such as 3-, 6-, or 10-session bundles that lower the per-visit rate. These packages may also include follow-up care, additional nutrients, or priority booking. Up-front packages can cost anywhere from $600 to $4,000 depending on the duration.
Travel, In-Home Delivery, and Premium Amenities
Mobile NAD services and concierge clinics bring treatment to your home, office, or hotel—often with a premium price tag. Expect to pay $200 to $800 more per session for in-home NAD IVs depending on location and service level.
Luxury clinics may also charge higher rates for amenities like spa settings, private rooms, or wellness add-ons. While not medically necessary, these features can influence your overall experience and cost.
Does Insurance Cover NAD Injections?
Most health insurance plans do not cover NAD injections, as these therapies are classified under elective or alternative treatments rather than medically necessary procedures. While NAD+ may offer benefits for recovery or chronic fatigue, insurers currently consider it outside standard coverage criteria.
However, some providers offer financing plans, membership discounts, or allow patients to pay using HSA/FSA funds in lieu of insurance reimbursement.
In rare cases tied to specific medical protocols—such as addiction recovery or chronic illness treatment—NAD therapy might be partially covered if bundled with covered services and properly documented. You can request pre-authorization and submit medical justification through your provider, but outright coverage is uncommon.
Those using NAD purely for wellness, energy, or anti-aging should expect full out-of-pocket payment. It’s always wise to check directly with your insurer to understand any exceptions or supportive benefits your plan might offer.
How Many Sessions Do You Actually Need?
NAD therapy is typically structured in two phases: a loading phase to build up cellular levels, followed by maintenance sessions to sustain results. The number of treatments you need depends on your goals, health condition, and how your body responds to the initial doses.
Common NAD therapy protocols:
- Loading phase:
- 4 to 6 sessions over 2 to 4 weeks
- Dosage typically ranges from 250 mg to 1000 mg per session (IV or IM)
- Some protocols recommend two injections or infusions per week
- 4 to 6 sessions over 2 to 4 weeks
- Maintenance phase:
- 1 session every 2 to 4 weeks
- Can extend to every 2 to 3 months for general wellness
- Adjusted based on results, energy levels, or lab feedback
- 1 session every 2 to 4 weeks
While NAD therapy isn’t a one-size-fits-all treatment, most people start noticing benefits after just a few consistent sessions. Staying on track with a structured plan—especially during the first month—can make a major difference in results.
Maintenance treatments help sustain energy, focus, and recovery long term without needing daily supplementation. As always, working with a qualified provider ensures your sessions match your goals and don’t waste time or money.
Tips to Get the Best Value From NAD Therapy
NAD therapy isn’t cheap, so it pays to be intentional about how you approach it. These tips can help you stretch your budget, avoid gimmicks, and make sure you’re actually getting the results you’re paying for.
Compare Clinics by What’s Included, Not Just the Base Price
A cheaper session might look appealing at first, but some clinics exclude essentials like vitamins, consultation fees, or even proper dosing. Always ask for a full cost breakdown: dosage, administration method, and any add-ons.
Transparent clinics will clearly list what you’re getting and why it costs what it does. That level of clarity is a good sign you’re working with a reputable provider.
Ask About Bundle Pricing or Membership Plans
Many clinics offer significant discounts when you purchase multiple sessions up front. Packages can lower your per-session cost by 15%–40%, especially during the loading phase.
Some even include follow-ups, lab checks, or add-ons like hydration or B12 at no extra cost. If you’re planning to do more than one session, bundling saves more than going one at a time.
Stick With a Proven Protocol, Not “Drip Trends”
Some providers upsell treatments that aren’t part of evidence-based NAD therapy—like mixing in trendy ingredients with no proven synergy. Stick with established NAD protocols unless your practitioner explains a medical reason for customizations.
Focusing on proven dosages and timing improves your outcomes and prevents unnecessary costs. More ingredients don’t always mean more results.
Choose IM Injections If You’re Cost-Conscious
Intramuscular (IM) NAD shots are often much cheaper than IV drips, and they’re easier to fit into your weekly schedule. While absorption may be slower than IV, the clinical benefits still hold up for many users.
You’ll also avoid added costs tied to staffing, IV setup, and longer chair time. If you’re seeking general wellness or energy support, IM is a smart way to start.
Use HSA or FSA Funds to Offset Out-of-Pocket Costs
If you have a health savings account (HSA) or flexible spending account (FSA), you may be able to apply those funds to NAD therapy. Some clinics accept direct HSA/FSA payments, while others can issue receipts for reimbursement.
This strategy doesn’t lower the clinic’s price, but it makes treatment more tax-efficient. Just check with your plan provider to confirm eligibility beforehand.
Track Your Progress and Adjust As Needed
To avoid paying for unnecessary sessions, track how you feel physically and mentally after each treatment. Keep notes on energy, sleep, focus, and recovery to measure real value.
Some clinics offer optional NAD level testing or follow-ups to help fine-tune your plan. The more data you have, the easier it is to spot what’s working—and what’s not worth repeating.
Bottom Line: Pay for Results, Not Just the Trend
NAD injections aren’t just a wellness fad—they offer real, cellular-level support when used correctly and consistently. The results can be impressive, especially for energy, focus, and recovery, but only if you choose the right provider and dosing strategy. Paying for NAD therapy should feel like an investment in your health, not a gamble on hype.
That’s why it’s important to skip shortcuts, ask hard questions, and match your treatment to your actual goals. High-quality NAD therapy isn’t always cheap, but the return is far better when you go in informed. Stick with protocols that work, avoid unnecessary upsells, and focus on what your body truly needs.
